Samples in JPG format

To test different options for image pre-processing, you may want to use the sample JPG files provided in the sample_data_jpg directory of the main branch. These images come from the 1740 “Staatskalender” (best described as an administrative yearbook). The scan quality is low and the pages have a dictionary-style layout with print on the opposite pages shining through.
